TRANSFORMATION: THE SOIL

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. [KING JAMES]

Transformation: To change in condition, nature, or character

John 12:2 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. [AMPLIFIED]

The purpose of transformation is not to destroy you, but it is to increase you. The scripture says “But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.” When you yield to the transformation process, get ready to increase. Wait. Keep in mind that increase comes after the change in condition, nature, or character. Don’t rush the process just keep focused on the end result.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. [AMPLIFIED]

The transformation process can be so painful that it feels like you won’t make it through, but God has a plan for your life. That plan is to give you hope and peace. Trust that He knows what He is doing. The soil contains elements that contributes to the breakdown of the seed. The same is true for you spiritually. As the Orchestrator, God has certain elements that He uses to facilitate in your growth, development, and ultimate success. The purpose of these elements is to make it easier and to promote His will in your life. We know that His will is that you prosper and experience divine health and wealth as you live your life according to His divine purpose. One such element is the Word. the Word is important because the Word heals, strengthens, develops, and it prospers you. Say “I need the Word.” If conversion is going to take place in your life, it will be by the Word.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.[KING JAMES]

You must welcome the Word into your heart with humility and meekness, and the Word will save, heal, deliver, and prosper your soul.

The other element is prayer. Prayer is communication with God. It is the most intimate relationship that Creation can have with its Creator. Fellowship with God is the heart of prayer. He wants you to talk with Him about everything. The essence of prayer is that it develops our relationship with God, and it demonstrates our trust and utter dependence upon Him. He said that you can call unto Him and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not of. He longs to commune with you and He desires to answer your concerns and every requests. Prayer is an element that if you incorporate it into your life, it will produce results in your life.

The Keys to Answered Prayer

One of the keys to answered prayer is praying according to the will of God and in accordance with His Word.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. [KING JAMES]

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, [KING JAMES]

You can be sure that God hears you when you pray His will. Whether it is His written will, which is His Word, or His purposed Will for your life. When you pray it, he hears you. Prayer is not seeking your own will but seeking to align yourself with the will of God more fully. Jesus tried three times to petition God for something that was not according to God’s will because He was beginning to feel the pain of the transformation process. In Matthew 26, it says that He prayed “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” At that moment Jesus desire was that He would not have to die, but God's plan had to be fulfilled.

Matthew 26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. [KING JAMES]

God's will shall be done in your life. Proverbs 19:21 says “There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” When you pray His will, you are praying what has been established. Pray His will.

Another key to answered prayer is faith. You must pray believing and you will receive. God only responds to your faith. You don’t get what you pray for, you get what you believe when you pray.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. [KING JAMES]

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. [KING JAMES]

Another key to answered prayer is to ask in the name of Jesus.

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. [KING JAMES]

Jesus is the way the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except by Him. You want God to answer? Ask it in Jesus' Name.

Another key is to rely on the Holy Ghost. Trust that when you don’t know what to say that the Spirit will make intercession for you. He knows the Father's will for your life and He will make intercession for you according to that will.

Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. [KING JAMES]
